Conestoga Township is located in southwestern Lancaster County. It is southwest of Lancaster and is surrounded by Manor, Martic, and Pequea Townships and the Borough of Millersville. The Susquehanna River and York County form the western border.
The unincorporated communities of Colemanville, Conestoga, Rockhill, Safe Harbor, Slackwater and Stone Hill are located in Conestoga Township.
Conestoga Township is in the Penn Manor School District.
